Ruby is a smooth-talking llama whisperer. Small of stature but oh so powerful with my girls. Her confidence with them is amazing, it really put them at ease. I was so impressed with her skill at taking care of business. I feel blessed to be among her customers. Arrow B. ~3 Llamas in Oakland OR
Ruby came on our property with a smile, gave clear instructions to our employees who were her helpers, and got right to work shearing our four adult, female alpacas, plus one six-month-old one. She worked very hard to accomplish the demanding work in a very short time. I highly recommend her as a professional in her line of work, and we will definitely have her back to shear our alpacas this spring. ~ Martha B. Alpacas in Ukiah, CA
Another great shearing experience! For the second year, we had the pleasure of having Ruby stop by to shear our three sheep. Even while shearing, Ruby freely shared her knowledge about farm animals and offered insight about how we can take the best care for our sheep. As long as we have Barbie, Jumper, and Lollipop, we’ll be clients. PS. The girls love their summer “hairdos”.

You shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth but apparently you should check the hind end of a goat before taking it home! I brought my new fiber goats home and got a first hand education on scours and fly strike! Ruby came to my rescue, answering emails and providing vital information. She came out and sheared away the disgusting maggoty mess — definitely above and beyond the call. I wouldn’t have gotten through this week without her. Me and my girls are so grateful to be on the mend and to be able to start on a better hoof! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
