Farmsitting, Internships & Willing Workers

FarmSit Retreats
Faerie Road Farm offers FarmSit
Retreats based on our personal needs for traveling.  The retreats generally last 8-14 days.  The first 3 days are spent learning animal care and farm systems, participating in various farm projects and learning a variety of skills based on your interests.  Then you spend 5-10 days by yourself on site, with a private room/studio, access to kitchen, wi-fi, hottub.  Aside from morning and evening animal chores your time is your own to rest, write, read, draw, paint, take walks, and otherwise create and/or rejuvenate amidst the great natural beauty of the farm. If trying out farm life is one of your goals, farm tasks and projects can be assigned.  You must be prepared to stay onsite every night, daytime excursions are acceptable.  The retreat is appropriate for a single person, couple, two friends or parent and child. Primary applicants must be an adult and must be prepared to participate at their own risk.
