FREE Intro to Organic Gardening

A crash course in organic gardening.
We will get an overview of essential gardening topics with a focus on growing annual vegetables. We’ll start by learning a bit about soil and soil types, soil amendments and preparation. Then we’ll move on to garden planning, plant selection, seed starting and planting. Finally we’ll look at maintenance including weeding, watering and pests. Handouts, tour of the garden and demonstrations. Faerie Road Farm owner K.Ruby Blume has been gardening 35+ years and has grown vegetables, fruit, medicinal and culinary herbs as well as flowers, roses, orchids, succulents, dye plants and everything in between.
