RubyFox River Retreat is a cozy, tidy, upstairs studio with kitchenette in a serene rural setting right on the Applegate River, 25 minutes away from Faerie Road Farm. The property is off the beaten path down a secret one lane road. Forested with sweeping lawns, deer, turkeys and other wildlife pass through regularly.
The studio has a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom, living/dining area and balcony with a sitting area. There is a twin daybed in the living area for a child or additional guest. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave and toaster oven. It is appropriate for breakfasts and small meals, but does not have a full cooking set up or sink for washing dishes.
As our guest you have access to the lower part of the property across the lane for river access and picnicking in a park-like setting. The retreat is close to Rogue River recreation areas, historic Grants Pass, wineries and hiking in the Little Applegate Valley.
The retreat is named for Jacki Fox Ruby who spent her last year here by the river. She is survived by your hosts, husband, Mike and daughter, Ruby who together tend the property.
